Waitrose opted for a whodunnit storyline featuring a star-studded cast of comedians, while Morrisons celebrated family chefs set to the Bugsy Malone song Give A Little Love sung by a choir.

Shoppers need to put the code SCSEO24NO15 at the checkout to cash in the e-coupon from the retailer. You can only use this code if you have not used it before and this is only valid on your first shop.

Tesco has cut the price of both its Bailey’s Original Irish Cream Liqueur Bottle and Light Irish alternative in a 70cl to just £8 for Clubcard holders.
This is a reduction from £10 before and marks a more than 50% drop to non-Clubcard holders.
